Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Meets with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

Mina, Saudi Arabia, Aug. 12, 2019, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met at the Royal Court at Mina Palace here today with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi conveyed the congratulations of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to the King, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adh-ha, who sent back his congratulations to the president. During the meeting, they reviewed the close brotherly relations between the two countries and discussed the situations in the region, especially in the Yemeni arena and the efforts exerted towards it. The meeting was attended by Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; and Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee. The meeting was also attended on the UAE side by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the National Security Advisor; Ali bin Hammad Al-Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; and Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. --SPA 17:20 LOCAL TIME 14:20 GMT 0013 www.spa.gov.sa/w1155152
