Makkah, May 31, 2019, SPA -- The Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) takes part in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the GCC, Arab and Islamic summits hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Makkah. KSeelief is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian arm, designed to fulfill its goals in its journey towards humanity without borders. The Center is an extension of the Kingdom's role in humanitarian action and holds its global mission to achieve peace in the world. The Center seeks to achieve the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to be a leading center for relief and humanitarian work, conveying the values of the Kingdom to the world and achieving its mission to be at the international level to ensure support for the affected groups. It works to alleviate the suffering of the human being to lead a decent life. KSrelief was opened in May 2015 under directives and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The projects and programs offered by the Center are varied according to their needs and circumstances. The assistance includes all sectors of relief and humanitarian work (relief security, camp management, shelter, early recovery, protection, education, water and environmental sanitation, nutrition and health). The Center is looking forward to be a global model in this field and pays special interest to women, the bedrock of the family. More than 225 women's projects have been implemented, amounting to $ 390 million.
