Saudi Press: Three Gulf, Arab and Islamic Summits in Makkah

Riyadh, May 29, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud called for holding two Arab and Gulf summits ahead of the Islamic Summit to discuss Gulf and Arab developments, unify the positions and coordinate them in line with the current situations and future aspirations and prevent the imminent dangers which have negative effects on the present and future of the region. The paper added that the imminent dangers are resulted from Iran's threats against the Gulf States and its blatant interference in the Arab affairs, which has its repercussions on the countries and peoples of the region. Al-Youm newspaper said in its editorial that since His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense has held the position as Crown Prince the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has witnessed up to present a series of remarkable achievements which have already led to tangible and remarkable changes accompanied by the comprehensive reforms in order to achieve KSA's vision and its green future. --SPA 14:26 LOCAL TIME 11:26 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w1110717
