KSrelief inaugurates food basket distribution project for Ramadan in Sudan

Riyadh, 28 April 2019 SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday the project of distribution of food baskets during the holy month of Ramadan in Sudan at an estimated cost of more than 549,000 US dollars. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador in Sudan Ali bin Hassan Ja'far and the representative of the Director General of Sudanese Moral Guidance, Major General Fathi Al-Mahal. The project aims to distribute 13,725 food baskets during the coming month of Ramadan to meet the needs of families in the areas of displacement and poverty in five states. According to the Center's implementation of such humanitarian initiatives, 68,625 people will benefit from the project. The distribution comes in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to provide a package of humanitarian aid to stand with the Sudanese people. -- SPA 16:02 LOCAL TIME 13:02 GMT 0017 www.spa.gov.sa/w1092906
