Brussels, March 07, 2019, SPA -- The Chair of European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula (DARP), Michele Alliot-Marie has emphasized that the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is an important stabilizing factor for the region and the world due to its continuous contributions in the fields of combating terrorism and sustainable development. This came during a meeting held here yesterday between Prince Khalid bin Abdullah, member of the Shura Council, Chairman of the Saudi-European Parliamentary Friendship Committee and Chair of European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula. During the meeting, the two sides reiterated the importance of strengthening relations between the Shura Council and the European Parliament and coordinating on various issues of common concern. Prince Khalid bin Abdullah also met yesterday with Member of the European Parliament, Mario Borghezio.
