Khartoum, January 25, 2019 SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a Saudi ministerial delegation to the sisterly Republic of Sudan, in solidarity with it, in the face of current economic challenges. On the other hand, President of the Republic of Sudan Omar Hassan al-Bashir has received, at the Guest House on Thursday night, the Saudi ministerial delegation, including Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi and Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan In a press statement, minister Al-Qasabi announced that the delegation's visit to Sudan falls in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to enhance economic relations with Sudan and increase trade exchange, revealing a clear plan of action, laying ground for subsequent visit(s) by Saudi businessmen, later on to Sudan, in this regard and explaining that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has reaffirmed that Sudan's security and stability mean the Kingdom's stability and stability, as well. Al-Qasabi stressed that the Kingdom has not and will not delay supporting Sudan and its people, in recognition of its position towards the Kingdom and the great role which has been played by the Sudanese, in enhancing the education process, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He further pointed out that the Kingdom has provided more than SR23 billion worth loans for development projects, in the Republic of Sudan, to promote ties of brotherhood and cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, SR8 billions of them, aside, were awarded to Sudan, in the last four years, indicating that this was done proceeding from the feeling of duty and adding that there are other completely studied development programs, loans and investments earmarked for the country, in addition to others under study, in the framework of promoting cooperation between the two countries.
