New York, December 14, 2018, SPA -- Kuwait expressed its deep concern at the violence and armed conflicts in the Central African region, which resulted in the loss of lives of innocent people and civilians, stressing the need to find radical solutions to stop these acts and hold those responsible accountable. This came in a speech delivered by the Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the United Nations Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi at a meeting of the Security Council yesterday to discuss developments in the Central African region. Al-Otaibi condemned in the strongest terms criminal acts, suicide bombings, repeated armed attacks, robberies and kidnappings carried out by the Boko Haram and LRA groups in the region. He affirmed the responsibility of all through the cooperation of the United Nations, the Security Council, regional and subregional organizations and all the States of the Central African region to address such attacks and take actions to stop them. --SPA 13:42 LOCAL TIME 10:42 GMT 0003 www.spa.gov.sa/w805081
