Tunis, 10 December 2018 SPA -- General Assembly of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) elected here today the representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Saad Al-Jaris, as the First Vice-President of ASBU for the next term of office 2019-2020. On the sidelines of the three-day general assembly meetings, a professional dialogue on New Media's Bets: Power of Influence and Change" was held as well as a meeting of the Information Partnership Committee between ASBU, the Asian Broadcasting Union and the Asian Broadcasting Development Institute, in addition to meetings of ASBU, the Mediterranean basin Standing Conference on audio-visual media and the European Broadcasting Federation.
