Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh, 29 November 2018 -- A special team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday provided new food aid for Rohingya refugees in the camps of the Cox Bazaar region of the Republic of Bangladesh. The team distributed 1,000 tons of rice, 300 tons of legumes and 100 tons of vegetable oil to more than 27,000 individuals. The aid aims to address the emergency levels of food security for displaced Rohingya and to avoid deterioration of malnutrition in the camps by providing food assistance in cooperation with World Food Program. The team's visit comes as a continuation of the support being provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to assist Rohingyas in neighboring countries of Myanmar to alleviate their sufferings. -- SPA 16:00 LOCAL TIME 13:00 GMT 0015 www.spa.gov.sa/w796353
