Riyadh, Muharram 22, 1440, Oct 2, 2018, SPA -- Economic and Development Affairs' Council held a meeting, at Yamamah Palace, here tonight. During the meeting, the council reviewed various related issues, including a presentation from the Ministry of Economy and Planning on the Kingdom economic performance, in the second quarter (2nd Q) of the current fiscal year. Ministry's presentation covered almost all related areas, in the light of national as well as global indicators, basic development within the macro economy, in addition to the indices of the GDP, monetary and fiscal performance, local and world stock exchanges, energy and labor markets, in addition to future economic expectations, in order to guarantee gauging progress made to carry out economic programs approved, their effectiveness and impact.
