Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stresses Saudi service for Makkah and Madinah

Madinah, Muharram 17, 1440, September 27, 2018, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud highlighted unity of the people of the kingdom. The king made the remarks during a reception party held by the dignitaries and notables of Madinah to welcome and celebrate the King's visit to the region and his inauguration of new projects in the region. The king said that for Makkah and Madinah, he is honored to have his name today as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He added, "We serve the houses of God and serve Makkah and Madinah," he said, adding that pilgrims come reassured and this is the approach of this country and people. He stressed that everyone in the Kingdom are equal, pointing out that in some countries, there is immunity for some while in the kingdom anyone can file a suit against any person, as did the late King Abdul Aziz. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said that "this country since the reign of King Abdulaziz and his sons after him Saud, Faisal, Khalid, Fahd and Abdullah - may God have mercy on them - all follow the path of the father King Abdul Aziz - may God have mercy on him - and his ancestors in this country."
