Riyadh, Muharram 16, 1440, September 26, 2018, SPA -- The fifth meeting of the Arab Food Safety Special Group held in Cairo, Egypt, has elected Hani bin Hamza Mansi, Director of Food Products Registration Department at the Saudi Arabian Food and Drugs Authority (SFDA), as Chairman of the Group for the coming period. The Arab Food Safety Special Group consists of representatives of organizations, bodies and various structures related to food safety regulations and standards in the member states of the League of Arab States, the Arab Trade Facilitation and Development Agreement, Executive Program of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (PAFTA), and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development AOAD and AIDMO. Saudi Arabia is represented by (SFDA) at the initiative of the Arab Fast Alert System for Food and Feed Safety.
