Moreover, the two sides reviewed the regional and international issues of common interest and the latest developments in the Middle East and the world and stressed the importance of reaching a comprehensive, lasting and just solution to the Palestinian cause in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy so as to ensure the Palestinian people's restoration of their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent State with East Jerusalem as its capital.
