"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since its establishment by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, have worked to maintain the bright image of the Islamic religion and serve the interests of Muslims and Islamic issues. When the phenomenon of terrorism emerged, targeting the entire world, the Kingdom worked and still works, with all its potentials, political weight and international position, to combat extremism and terrorism," the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said. "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirms through all international platforms that the extremism and terrorism do not belong to any religion, civilization, nation, race or culture. The Kingdom seeks to address any threat against the security and stability in the world through holding coalitions with peace-loving states and establishing an international center, the first of its kind, to confront extremist ideology and enhance coexistence among the peoples of the world," the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques affirmed. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques concluded that the holy month of Ramadan is an opportunity to vie in accomplishing good deeds. --SPA 20:32 LOCAL TIME 17:32 GMT 0030 www.spa.gov.sa/w689614
