Riyadh, Sha'ban 22, 1439, May 08, 2018, SPA -- Spokesman of Forces of Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen Colonel Turki Al-Malki reviewed the comprehensive humanitarian operations in Yemen and the position of the operations to restore hope to support the legitimacy within Yemen and the Houthi infiltrations and threats to regional and international security, and targeting the Huthi capabilities inside Yemen and across the Saudi border, explaining that a high-ranking Saudi military delegation visited Socotra Island to meet Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Obaid Bin Dagher, as well as members of the local government of the island. He pointed out that it was agreed to establish a mechanism for the comprehensive and joint coordination between the coalition and the Yemeni government, where the coalition confirms to the legitimate Yemeni government unity of the goals and visions guiding the Decisive Storm and Restore Hope until the liberation of all Yemeni lands and the restoration of legitimacy. Colonel al-Maliki addressed the World Food Program of the World Health Organization in light of the efforts of the coalition to support the legitimacy in continuation of the efforts of comprehensive humanitarian operations in Yemen, with the amount which was handed over by the coalition to the United Nations, and the number of relief outlets in Yemen, whether air or sea or land reaching 22 ports operating with all capacity and the number of non-targeting orders up to today is 9248, and the total number of permits of all kinds is 23,257 permits. The number of permits from the evacuation cell for ships heading to the port of Hodeidah reached 10, while the permits issued to the Yemeni airports amounted to 92 flights, the number of passengers was 10030 passengers and the number of permits for land ports was 12 permits. He noted that the Houthi militia deliberately obstructs the ships' movement to the ports under their control and the reference was made to many non-governmental organizations as well as United Nations organizations. Colonel al-Maliki pointed out the plans of comprehensive humanitarian operations in Yemen until May 7, where the number of Yemeni beneficiaries reached 3,709,972 beneficiaries of aid, oil derivatives and transporters, and there is no distinction between areas under the control of the legitimate government or areas under the control of the coup.
