Geneva, Sha'ban 18, 1439, May 4, 2018, SPA -- The Arab Group has made observations on the opening statement of the Chair of the Preparatory Committee for the 2020 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference, WAM reported. The Arab Group noted that the related matters included in the working papers and country statements which were not mentioned in the Chair's statement, are of great importance and reflect the discussions of the 2nd Preparatory Committee's session. The Group affirmed that the NPT review conference is the main platform for following up the implementation of the 1995 resolution on the Middle East.
