Al-Maliki said: "Cases are many in Yemen and that does not mean that the coalition is responsible as a claim for this incident and the results will be announced openly and transparently, but we should not forget that the Houthi militias are responsible for the targeting of some marriages, as happened in the past period which witnessed the militia's targeting of a wedding ceremony and its attempt to charge the coalition of supporting legitimacy in Yemen with the accusations. The coalition takes all measures to minimize collateral damage and the results will be announced in a neutral, frank and transparent manner within the next 72 hours. With regard to the Houthis' vowing to respond to the coalition countries in general and the Kingdom in particular, Colonel al-Maliki said that any escalation by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia can only accelerate their end. Colonel al-Maliki said that the seized 19 vessels were announced and contacts were made with some UN organizations.
