Jeddah, Rajab 17, 1439, April 03, 2018, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has had talks with Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Azmi Thassim. During the meeting, which took place the day before yesterday, Thassim briefed Al-Othaimeen on a number of steps taken by his country's government to address the situation after the recent violence against Muslims in the past two months in Ampara, Digana and Kandy, Sri Lanka.
