Jeddah, Rajab 14, 1439, March 31, 2018, SPA -- Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the brutal aggression by the Israeli occupation forces against unarmed Palestinian civilians during their participation in peaceful marches in commemoration of the Day of the Earth. More than 16 martyrs and more than 1,400 Palestinians were killed. Secretary-General of the Organization Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen said in a statement today that Israeli occupation is fully responsible for the consequences of the continuation and escalation of its aggression and war crimes against the Palestinian people, calling on the Security Council to intervene immediately to stop this ongoing Israeli aggression and to provide international protection to the Palestinian people, reiterating the need for the international community to engage in sponsoring a political track leading to peace based on the vision of a two-state solution. -- SPA 18:53 LOCAL TIME 15:53 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w655582
