Muslim World League Secretary General and Japanese Japan Halal Association Chairman Sign Agreement

Tokyo, Jumada II 29, 1439, March 17, 2018, SPA -- The Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa and the Chairman of Japan Halal Association Seiji Sakta have signed an agreement of Halal Food Organization in Japan, whereas MWL shall be the responsible for providong these sevices in Japan in general and in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo in particular. The MWL shall be the responsible for organizing and granting halal seal and applying regulatory specifications in Japan in general and it will also participate with the Japanese Government in halal food regulation and its conforming to the conditions, as MWL will provide the highest specifications of the project The MWL also will supervise Halal food and services and provide its experiences and advices to the Japanese Association along with cooperating with it in working and coordinating with the Japanese Government, companies and the Japanese society. MWL Secretary General Mohammed Al-Issa said in a statement that the cooperation and coordination between the MWL's agencies and Japanese Association reflects the level of mutual trust relationship and the great role that MWL is playing towards Islamic peoples along with its important position in the Islamic world.
