At the outset of the meeting, the Vice Speaker of the Shura Council noted depth of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France in various fields, especially the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the French Parliament. He also highlighted Kingdome's efforts in confronting terrorism. For his part, the French Senator expressed his happiness over this visit, lauding the bilateral relations between the two countries.
