Riyadh, 09 Rabi'I,1439 AH, 27 November,2017 , SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information and Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Broadcasting Corporation Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad has issued a decision appointing Dawood bin Abdulaziz Al-Sherian as Executive President of Saudi Broadcasting Corporation. Al-Sherian graduated from King Saud University, information department, started his journalistic career in 1976, worked in Dubai TV and in a number of local newspapers, Al-Arabiya TV, administrative and editorial works in the media, Chief editor of Al Arabiya Net site, Director General of MBC Group in the Kingdom, Member of Board of Directors of Al-Arabiya and MBC Group, since 2012, a presenter of program Al-Thaminah on MBC until his resignation from the group earlier this month. -- SPA 14:21 LOCAL TIME 11:21 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w547425
