Burma, Bangladesh Agree on Starting Return of Rohingya refugees in Two Months

Rangoon, Rabi'I 6, 1439, Nov 24, 2017, SPA -- Burma and Bangladesh announced on Thursday that the repatriation of Rohingya refugees would begin within two months amid mounting international pressure to end the crisis that forced more than 600,000 members of the Muslim minority to flee across the border. After talks between Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi and Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Hussein Mahmood Ali, the two sides signed an agreement in this regard.
