Jeddah, Muharram 2, 1439 H., Sep 22, 2017, SPA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir hailed the international standing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which celebrates the occasion of its 87th National Day, praising the progress achieved in various fields, during the last nine decades since it was established by the Founding King Abdulaziz and his distinguished sons, until the current glorious reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense. The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the Saudi Arabia's foreign policy towards various Arab, Islamic, regional and global issues. He stressed that the effective political role of the Kingdom in the regional and international issues would not have been achieved without God's conciliation. First, the Kingdom was based on a well-established faith, moderation, modernization, openness, dialogue and cooperation with the members of the international community, in order to lay the foundations for international peace and security, as well as its firm commitment to foreign policy, to respect for the sovereignty of states, non-interference in their internal affairs and respect for international laws, and to play an active role within the framework of regional and international organizations. "The national day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a proud occasion for the country," he said, adding that "The history of Saudi Arabia is full of achievements as the constant element of advancement is development," he said.
