Cairo, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 30, 1438 H., August 22, 2017, SPA -- The First Meeting for Senior Officials in charge of implementing the last Arab summit resolution on terror combat and social development wrapped up here today, under the chairmanship of Egypt's social solidarity minister Dr. Ghadah Wali, who is also the head of the executive bureau of the Arab social affairs ministers council, and the participation of senior officials from Arab countries. In a final communique, the meeting denounced all terror operations that hit the Arab as well as other parts of world, last of which were in Barcelona and Finland. They confirmed that terrorism has no nation or religion of origin and would remain the most brutal crime against humanity in the current history, necessitating internationally concerted effort to root it. A full-fledged task team was formed to include Mauritania, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and host Egypt in addition to Kuwait and Palestine to implement the Arab Declaration on supporting Arab action to wipe out terrorism. The Second Meeting for Senior Officials in charge of implementing the last Arab summit resolution on terror combat and social development will be held on 25 October in Cairo to discuss the outcome of the task team which will, on its behalf, hold a meeting in Cairo on October 9. The results of the Second Meeting will be discussed by the 37th session of the Arab Social Affairs ministers council scheduled for Kuwait on November 14, prior to forwarding its conclusion to the Arab summit in Riyadh next March 2018.
