Washington, Shawwal 6, 1438, Jun 30, 2017, SPA -- US President Donald Trump on Friday welcomed South Korean President Moon Jae In to the White House, where the two leaders discussed trade and the threat posed by North Korea, dpa reported. The United States and South Korea are renegotiating a trade deal "right now as we speak," Trump said. He predicted the outcome would be "much different" than the current trade deal, but still "good for both parties." Speaking at the White House alongside Moon, Trump said South Korea is a major trading partner with the US. He described the US relationship with South Korea as "very, very strong" and said his personal relationship with Moon is "very, very good." Trump said he and Moon also discussed "many options" with respect to North Korea. Moon described his visit with Trump as "an opportunity to reconfirm that the US and Korea are walking together on the same path towards a great alliance." --SPA 19:38 LOCAL TIME 16:38 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w438177
