Cairo, , Ramadan, 10 1438,June 05, 2017, SPA -- The Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Sameh Shukri, received at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Palace in Cairo today the Foreign Minister, Mr. Adel Ben Ahmed Al-Jubeir, who arrived in Cairo earlier today on an official visit. The meeting of the Political Consultation Committee was held between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The meeting discussed means of enhancing the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries as well as the existing efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in addition to the overall situation in the region and the world. AL-jubeir said that the bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the field of combating terrorism has been strong for many years and has led to the saving of many lives. He stressed the two countries' efforts to intensify bilateral cooperation and work together to intensify regional and international efforts to confront extremism and terrorism.
