Crown Prince Chairs 18th Consultative Meeting of the GCC Interior Ministers

Riyadh, Sha'ban 01, 1438, April 27, 2017, SPA – Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, chaired here today 18th Consultative Meeting of the Interior Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States. In his speech, the Crown Prince welcomed the GCC interior ministers, conveying to them greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his wishes for all success of their meeting. The Crown Prince stressed importance of enhancing security of the GCC states and peoples in addressing all security challenges surrounding the GCC security. During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing march of the security existing cooperation among the GCC states as well as expanding aspects of continuous consultation and coordination in this field. The GCC interior ministers stressed importance of concerted efforts and coordination of stances to strengthen the GCC common security upon directives of the GCC leaders to maintain the GCC security and stability.
