Dhaka, Rajab 04, 1438, April 01, 2017, SPA – President of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Saber Chowdhury received here Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Dr. Yahya bin Abdullah Al-Samaan. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Samaan conveyed greetings of the Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh to the IPU President, wishing all success for the 136th IPU session in Dhaka. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between Majlis Al-Shura and the IPU and ways of enhancing them. They also discussed agenda of the meeting. On the other hand, the Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura participated in the coordination meetings of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Arab and Islamic councils.
