United Nations, Jumada II 1, 1438, Feb 28, 2017, SPA -- Houthi militias and allied forces of deposed president Ali Saleh dared to prevent today the UN undersecretary for humanitarian affairs, who is in charge of coordinating emergency relief operations Stephen O'Brien from entering the besieged Yemeni city of Taiz. In a press release, the Office of Humanitarian Affairs Coordination said that despite his obtaining a permit by all parties, guaranteeing his safe travel during all stages of his current visit to Yemen, O'Brien, coming from Ebb, was barred from entering Taiz at the final check point.
