Washington, Jumada I 08, 1438, February 05, 2017, SPA -- The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Saturday suspended all enforcement of President Donald Trump's travel ban one day after a federal judge ordered it halted, dpa reported. The DHS decision means refugees and people from seven Muslim-majority countries who have obtained visas will be allowed to enter the United States. The DHS issued a statement on its decision to suspend the order, according to US news reports. It came shortly after Trump denounced US District Judge James Robart for granting the Washington state attorney general's request to immediately halt Trump's executive order on a nationwide basis. Trump's order, signed January 27, temporarily suspended the US refugee programme and travel from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen, as well as indefinitely banned Syrian refugees from the country. --SPA 03:40 LOCAL TIME 00:40 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w325597
