Riyadh, Rabi'I 28, 1438, Dec 27, 2016, SPA -- The Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) is to finance seven new projects focusing on constitutional building of entities aiming for further enabling women to play their roles, childhood development, Arab civil society development, social awareness culture on disability enhancement and inserting them in the executive programs of the 2030 sustainable development executive programs. In a meeting in Riyadh today, chaired by Vice President Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam, Managing Director of the Saudi Development Fund, on behalf of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of AGFUND, the development-supporter agency said it was briefed on 2016 achievements and approved the 2017 budget including 2017 AGFUND prize. Following a thorough debate, the meeting approved seven new developmental projects, covering enabling women to develop, developing marginalized social segments, developing those with special needs, developing early childhood and civil society, forging special curricula for the deaf and mute to qualify them for labor market.
