King Salman Center for Relief transfers 27 wounded Yemenis for treatment in Sudan

Khartoum, Rabi'I 16, 1438, December 15, 2016, SPA --A plane carrying 27 wounded Yemenis accompanied by 10 persons from their relatives arrived in Khartoum Airport yesterday, where King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid transferred them to Merowe Medical City in Sudan under the supervision of a specialized team from the center, and they were received by the Secretary General of Sudanese Red Crescent Engineer Othman Ja'far and a number of officials and workers in the Ministry of Health in Sudan. Adviser at the Royal Court, and General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah said that in an extension of the programs being provided by the center for the health sector in Yemen, the Center transferred the injured Yemenis whose treatment are not available in Yemen to the Medical City of Merowe in the Republic of Sudan, accompanied by 10 persons due to some cases that require their presence, where the Center has ensured the financing of their transferring, treatment and returning to Yemen after the end of their treatment period within the executive program with Sudanese Red Crescent Society and in coordination with Yemeni Higher Committee for Relief represented by Ministry of Public Health and Population in Yemen. --SPA 12:59 LOCAL TIME 09:59 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w291159
