Washington, Safar 16, 1438, November 16, 2016, SPA -- An airline employee was shot dead Tuesday in a parking lot outside Oklahoma City's main airport, prompting authorities to stop all flights and place the airport on lockdown, according to dpa. The Oklahoma City Police Department said on Twitter the victim had worked for Southwest Airlines. Will Rogers Airport remained closed hours after the shooting, but police tweeted that they would begin moving people out of the terminal. The police department had earlier told people who were inside the airport to "shelter in place until advised otherwise" and told people not to go to the airport even if they were scheduled to fly. Departing and arriving flights remained suspended and police were sweeping the terminal. There were no further details about what was behind the shooting or where the shooter was. Will Rogers Airport is about 8 kilometres from Oklahoma City, which is the capital of Oklahoma. --SPA 02:59 LOCAL TIME 23:59 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w270279
