Riyadh, Muharram 30, 1438, Oct 31, 2016, SPA -- Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani received, at the Foreign Ministry here today, heads of diplomatic missions of Muslim countries to the Kingdom. During the meeting, he briefed His them on the blatant abuse by militias of Al-Huthi, which launched a ballistic missile to attack Makkah, last Thursday, referring to it as a repugnant attempt as it was a threat to the most important and august sanctities for Muslims. He called, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom, sister Islamic countries to stand firm, put strong show towards aggression and the aggressor and those forces of oppression and evil that stand behind the attempt as well as the militias. For his part, the Dean of the Islamic Diplomatic Corps Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom Diauddin Saeed Bamakhrama denounced, in his own name and on behalf of the ambassadors of Islamic countries, adding that any blatant and wanton assault targeting Makkah, is considered as an affront against all Islamic countries and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims, he said, expressing ambassadors of Islamic countries of efforts exerted by the Kingdom, in order to take care, protect and serve Muslims' sanctities, in Makkah and Madinah. -- SPA 20:30 LOCAL TIME 17:30 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
