Saudi-Argentine Investment Forum Seeks to Develop Bilateral Trade

Riyadh, Muharram 30, 1438, Oct 31, 2016, SPA -- Riyadh Chamber organized here today the Saudi-Argentine Investment Forum, which witnessed a huge gathering of Saudi and Argentine businessmen as well. The forum was attended by the Argentine Ambassador to the Kingdom Jaime Sergio Cerda, on behalf of the Vice President of the Republic of Argentina Gabriela Michetti, currently on a visit to the Kingdom. Vice Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber Hamad Shuwaeir confirmed that the trade exchange between the two sides stood at the size of 6,092 million, in 2013, then dropped to 2.51 million in August of this Year 2016, a matter that calls for the business sectors in the Kingdom to seek to strengthen economic ties and raise the volume of trade with Argentina, in a way that reflects the size of the two economies. For his part, the Secretary for Economic Policy, at the Argentine Ministry of Treasury Pedro Lacoste pointed out that his country's enterprise sector is ready to embark on promising and feasible investments, in the Kingdom, for its strong economic potentials which guarantees remunerating returns, concluding by projecting a panoramic Argentine socio-economic set-up, in addition to energy and electricity services. -- SPA 20:10 LOCAL TIME 17:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
