Saudi Ambassador to Japan: Paramount Importance for Deputy Crown Prince Visit, to Tokyo

Tokyo, Dhu-AlQa'dah 28, 1437, Aug 31, 2016, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to Japan Ahmed bin Younes al-Barrak said that the visit of the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense to Japan, is of paramount importance and special connotations, due to the Deputy Crown Prince respect and appreciation, in different Japanese circles, and because of the two friendly countries' excellent relations and harmony of views, towards many regional and international issues. In a statement made to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ambassador said that exchanged visits between the Kingdom and Japan contributed to closer cooperation between the two countries, based on mutual respect to promote true partnership, as outlined by the summit meetings between the leaders of the two countries, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between them, before more than 60 years ago. He pointed out that the level of these relations, in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, have grown growing, at all levels, especially after his visit to Japan, in 2014, when he was crown prince. The ambassador stressed that the Deputy Crown Prince's visit to Japan confirms continued coordination and consultation between the two countries, to best serve bilateral interests and international peace and security. During the Deputy Crown Prince visit, he is set to meet with the Emperor of Japan, the Crown Prince and the Japanese prime minister, who will host a dinner in honor of the Deputy Crown Prince, he stated, noting that the Japanese are seeing great interest, in the Kingdom in 2030, and are looking forward to participate and contribute, to it. -- SPA 22:33 LOCAL TIME 19:33 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
