In a letter received by Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Region, the Prince of Wales said that the horrific events that took place recently in Madinah deeply saddened me, describing it as a criminal assault. Prince Charles added that this criminal assault, which occurred in one of the holy Muslim sites, is so awful and expressed his sincere sympathy with the Governor of Madinah Region, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
