Warsaw, Rajab 6, 1437, Apr 13, 2016, SPA -- Poland is considering exhuming 90 bodies from a 2010 plane crash in Smolensk, Russia, for a new investigation - even against the will of family members, Radio Zet reported on Wednesday. The decision will be made by the prosecutor leading the investigation, said Marek Pasionek, the head of the investigation team, the Polish radio station said, dpa reported. Polish president Lech Kaczynski's plane was attempting a landing at Smolensk, Russia, on April 10, 2010, when it crashed, killing all 96 people on board. Even six years later, the crash that killed Lech Kaczynski and dozens of other Polish political and military leaders continues to generate conspiracy theories and poison relations with Russia. Radio Zet reported that investigators want to talk to victims' families, adding that the final decision on the exhumations lay with the investigators. -- SPA 21:29 LOCAL TIME 18:29 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
