Riyadh, Oct 17, 2019, SPA -- The UNESCO Executive Council unanimously approved on Thursday the establishment of Regional Center for Dialogue and Peace in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the supervision of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue. Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sabeel extended thanks to the Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, for his efforts and support for the establishment of Regional Center for Dialogue and Peace. The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to UNESCO Dr. Ibrahim Al-Balawi expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Minister of Education in supporting the Kingdom's file for the establishment of the Center as part of the Kingdom's efforts through Vision 2030 to promote dialogue and peaceful coexistence with different peoples.
