Riyadh, Oct 17, 2019, SPA -- Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, received in here today, the visiting US Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale. At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Defense Minister commended the deep historical and strategic relations between the Kingdom and the United States, stressing the importance of that relationship in the service of regional and international security and peace, and to achieve the interests of the two peoples. During the meeting, Prince Khalid bin Salman and the US official reviewed the various aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments, joint efforts in combating terrorism and supporting security and stability in the region in order to avoid external threats and interference. Talks also dealt with the latest situations in Yemen and the role of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in enhancing Yemen's military, political and humanitarian security and stability.
