HRH Crown Prince Holds Talks with Algerian Prime Minister

Algiers, December 03, 2018, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held at his guest residence here today a session of talks with Algeria's Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields and discussed the latest developments in the region. A joint statement was, then, issued as follows: "Within the framework of the distinguished brotherly relations and historical ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the two sides agreed to establish a supreme coordination council under co-chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, and Algeria's Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia in order to enhance cooperation in the fields of politics, security, combating terrorism and extremism, economy, trade, investment, energy, mining, culture and education."
