Meanwhile, the Development Committee of the World Bank Group discussed the human capital project launched by the World Bank on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the IMF and the WB in 2018. During the meeting, the Minister of Finance welcomed the efforts of the World Bank Group in developing the human capital project, stressing the importance of effective investment in human capital as one of the main engines for achieving sustainable development. Al-Jadaan also affirmed the importance of consolidating the means of education to achieve harmony with the technical development and the requirements of the labor market, welcoming the World Bank's initiative to promote the use of modern technologies to enhance sustainable development. He pointed out the importance of capacity building which leads to the adoption of these techniques by governments and individuals effectively, referring to the role of financial technology in enhancing global financial coverage, while emphasizing the importance of using this tool to promote economic growth, develop the financial markets and achieve the sustainable development.
