Saudi Intellectual Property Authority signs MOU with South Korean counterpart

Geneva, Muharram 15, 1440, Sep 25, 2018, SPA -- The Saudi Intellectual Property Authority signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with South Korean Bureau for Intellectual Property on the sidelines of the UN 58th general assembly of the member states of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), currently ongoing in Switzerland. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Suwailem, Executive President of the Saudi Intellectual Property Authority, signed the MOU on behalf of the Saudi side while the acting minister plenipotentiary at the Korean embassy in Geneva signed on behalf of the Korean side. The MOU aims at forging a general framework for cooperation between the two sides in the field of intellectual property according to the legislations in effect in the two countries to meet the desire of further deepening the ties of friendship and enhancing cooperation in the field of protecting intellectual property. --SPA 22:22 LOCAL TIME 19:22 GMT 0054 www.spa.gov.sa/w755650
