Governor of Central Yemen discusses with the UN official the financial difficulties facing the bank

Aden, Shawwal 27, 1439, Jul 11, 2018, SPA -- The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Mohamed Zemmam, underscored the technical readiness of the bank to settle the funding gap only after all legal revenues from all provinces being received. The UNDP Resident Representative in Aden, Liz Grand, discussed with the Humanitarian Coordinator the overall financial difficulties facing the Central Bank, including the non-supply of revenues from the governorates not subject to the legitimate government. The meeting discussed the measures taken by the Central Bank in order to activate the legal activities of the bank in managing and modernizing the monetary policy of the country, stressing that all public revenues within the Yemeni government authorities are submitted to the Central Bank, including all sales of crude oil and other revenues. --SPA 21:09 LOCAL TIME 18:09 GMT 0031 www.spa.gov.sa/w715638
