Makkah, Shawwal 14, 1439, June 28, 2018, SPA -- Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) lauded the great continuing efforts being exerted by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the service of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the two holy mosques without any discrimination, citing the Kingdom's successful measures to receive some 18,000 Syrian pilgrims this year. In a press release, the MWL refuted the delusive allegations that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia authorities have barred Syrian nationality holders from performing Hajj and Umra. The statement said the Kingdom annually receives pilgrims from more than 80 nationalities without any discrimination and provides them with world-class services to perform their rituals in ease and comfort. This year 1439 H. around 18000 pilgrims will come from Syria, a step the statement described as the best reply to such claims. --SPA 21:20 LOCAL TIME 18:20 GMT 0024 www.spa.gov.sa/w709659
