Amman, Ramadan 05, 1439, May 21, 2018, SPA -- The Jordanian government condemned opening of Republic of Paraguay embassy today, in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem). The official spokesman of the Jordanian government Mohammad Al-Momani said that the embassy transfer is in violation of the United Nations' Charter and relevant international legitimacy resolutions. He also reaffirmed that it is null void, as it has no legal effect, stressing that Al-Quds (Jerusalem) is the capital of the envisioned state of Palestine, adding that Jordan's position is consistent with its categorical rejection of the relocation to Al-Quds (Jerusalem) of any embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, as such a move constitutes a unilateral action with no legal effect and is condemned by Jordan and rejected by the majority of world nations". --SPA 17:58 LOCAL TIME 14:58 GMT 0031 www.spa.gov.sa/w691832
