KSRelief Signs Three Humanitarian Projects to Combat Cholera in Yemen

Riyadh, Jumada I 27, 1439 H., Feb 13, 2018, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) has signed three humanitarian projects worth $10,959,866 with the World Health Organization to proceed with the Kingdom's pledge to continue fighting cholera until the end. The projects were signed by the Consultant at the Royal Court Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, who is also the center's general supervisor, and the WHO representative in the Kingdom, Kuwait, and Bahrain Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zeeq, in the presence of Saudi ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber. The projects come in implementation of instructions of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, that an amount of $66.7million be allotted to combat cholera in Yemen in partnership with WHO and UNICEF. --SPA 21:02 LOCAL TIME 18:02 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w610955
