Tunis, Rabi'I 18, 1439 H., December 06, 2017, SPA -- Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi received today a telephone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the call, they reviewed the latest developments in Middle East and the possible implications of the decision that the United States of America might take regarding transferring its embassy to occupied Jerusalem. A statement issued later by the Tunisian government to highlight the conversation said that the two sides stressed the importance of preserving the historical and legal status of Al-Quds in reference to the relevant international resolutions.
