Kuwait, Safar 6, 1439, October 26, 2017, SPA -- An official source at the Kuwaiti foreign ministry confirmed that, as part of the efforts being exerted by the State of Kuwait in the field of combating terrorism and drying up its resources, the Anti-terrorism committee, an affiliate of the ministry of foreign affairs of the State of Kuwait, has issued a decision designating two entities and eleven individuals, who serve as leaders, financiers and supporters of Al-Qaeda and Daesh terrorist organizations in Yemen, on the local list of terrorists. The source said that this move was taken in coordination with the United States of America, and within the framework of the recently-formed Riyadh-based International Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (ITFTC), which was co-chaired by the US and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The designation of these two entities and eleven individuals also comes as implementation of the UNSC resolution No. 1373 in 2001 which was issued under article seven of the United Nations Charter, the source stated, pointing out that the action taken by Kuwait also comes in line with the country's constitution, laws and regulations. The source disclosed that the names of the two entities are Al-Rahmah Charitable Association and Al-Khyr Supermarket, both based in Yemen, along with the following Yemeni individuals: Nayif Salih Salim al-Qaysi, Abd al-wahhab Muhammad 'Abd al-wahhab al-Humayqani, Hashim Muhsin Aydarus, Nashwan al-Adani, Khalid Abdullah Saleh al-Marfadi, Sayf Abdulrab Salem al-Hayashi, Adil Abduh Fari, Uthman al-Dhubbani, Radwan Mohammed Hasan Qanan, Wali Nashwan al-Yafi'I, Khalid sa'id Ghabish al-'ubaydi and Bilal Ali al-Wafi. --SPA 00:39 LOCAL TIME 21:39 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w521795
